Whether or not your calculations are correct, a second eye to look over them is necessary. It might have more widespread damage and I'd rather be more safe than sorry.
Are your 'fonons' limited to only physical damage? Do you have any abilities that may equate to a full-body scan? Something that could detect irregularities in one's system.

...I understand a Lombax's build is... different than what you're accustomed to, but the danger should be obvious.
